Huskhawk Group – Borrower Beware
We have been receiving numerous complaints from consumers that they are being unfairly harassed by the Huskhawk Group and their in house collections Viking Recovery.
Based on our research this company is located in Charleston, Nevis, West Indies and is not licensed to do business in the U.S. They also just had their license revoked in the West Indies as well.
The public is hereby advised that Huskhawk Group Ltd., a company incorporated on March 28, 2007 under the Nevis Business Corporation Ordinance, 1984 (as amended), was struck from the register on March 3, 2011. A company that is struck from the register is not authorized to conduct the business activity for which it was organized. Clients have come to us stating this lender uses such intimidation tactics such as putting them in jail, calling their employer stating the debtor is going to be arrested and sued. When a lender is outside the country they don’t follow the fair debt collection act which is a US law so we are suggesting to consumers if you must get a payday loan make sure they are legal in your state and the company is licensed to issue these loans.

I cant even get in touch with this company to pay off this loan and they debit $75.00 out of my bank account every 2 weeks. This has been going on for a year and I am now closing my bank account and hoping they contact me looking for payment so I can be done with them.
If you close your account they will definitely be in touch with you. Shame you cant reach anyone to pay off what you owe.
